Love is at the Door

Love is at the Door is a book like no other. It is a journal of dreams and visions that God gave to Kevin Holland,  a retired Salvation Officer, who has faithfully recorded each dream in a journal for all to see. It makes compelling reading as this isn’t Kevin telling a story – but it is God speaking in ways that are similar to parables being spoken. It is spiritual language. He who has an ear, let him hear.

Christians often use words such as ‘The Body of Christ’, ‘The Church’, and ‘The Bride of Christ’ interchangeably, but each term is saying something different about the fellowship of the saints who are called by His Name. This series of dreams and visions given to Kevin gives us an understanding of the Body of Christ in ways that has never been fully understood before. The church must come together as a functioning spiritual body in much the same way as our physical bodies has members that are joined and functions as a whole. This unity in the Church will not come about through an organisation created by man, rather, it will be a work of the Holy Spirit.

We will soon see as we read through the pages of this book, that God is inviting us to be participants in something greater than what we could ever dream of, i.e. for each one individually doing our part and seeing the Body of Christ coming into order and being glorified in such a way that we all shall be astonished. There is something that our Lord asks of us though, and that is for us to be obedient to Him as he calls us into His love and purpose.

The title of the book could equally have been ‘Love is the Key that Opens the Door to His Power’ but that could be misunderstood by some as being a way to manipulate God into receiving God’s power for their own carnal agenda. God already has an agenda, we just need to be obedient to His instruction and calling as He reveals each step for us to folow.

We are fast approaching the ‘Last Days’ and there are many false teachers giving false hope to the fearful and misguided. We need to hear what God has planned for His Church and trust in His plan for all of us who love Him and are zealous to do His will. In this book, God is revealing to us THE NEXT BIG THING that is going to overthrow every fear and doubt that we may have for the future.
