Miracles Do Happen
There had been a great deal of interest in public and booksellers alike waiting in anticipation for the official release of Allan’s book. Would the book stand up to the scrutiny of expectations developed from people reading the pre-release blurb? The first few weeks can be brutal as readers give their honest opinion regarding the book and whether they advise other readers to bother purchasing it.
The verdict so far has been overwhelming … FIVE STARS in every review that I could find – bar one, who gave it four stars.
Just mentioning some of the miracles to Atheist, New Age, and others who were cynical about God has piqued their attention like nothing else – their response has been wanting to buy the book to find out more about this ‘mysterious’ God who performs miracles simply in response to a prayer!
Not everyone who purchases a book gets to give the book a star rating as many of the first hundred books were being sold from the author himself, or direct from the publisher who don’t have a means to let the reader rate the book – it has only been personal feedback which is encouraging, but doesn’t put “scores on the board” so to speak.
For many people, this book has been revolutionary to their way of thinking. If a person (Christian or non-Christian) grows up in an environment (Church or secular) without ever witnessing a miracle in their entire life, then it would be easy for them to believe that miracles ceased to exist since the time of Jesus 2000 years ago. This book challenges this unbelief, over and over again.
God is shaking not only the earth, but the heavens also. Our understanding of a God being reluctant to work miracles is getting a sound shaking – in the most loving and encouraging way possible. When people come into fellowship with God – anything can happen, including miracles!
Love is at the Door: Obedience is the Key

It should be noted that this book is NOT for everyone. The dreams given by the Lord are full of allegories with each picture or vision representing some spiritual aspect of the Body of Christ. The Lord is conveying messages in much the same way as when He spoke in parables whilst He was on earth. As a guide, if the book ‘Pilgrim’s Progress‘ makes absolutely no sense to you then neither will this book – even though the dreams and visions have the interpretation given to aid in understanding.
Will the rapture occur at any moment? We know not the hour or the day, but we CAN KNOW the season. That season is drawing near and the Bride of Christ needs to “trim the lamps” in preparation for His coming. This series of dreams is telling the churches what is out of order and what must be put right BEFORE He returns. It is a serious book that will have an impact upon all who read it with an understanding heart. It is not the type of book that can be read like a novel – each chapter speaks of something new that needs to be meditated upon and inwardly digested. It would make an ideal book for use in a Bible study setting where each dream could be used as a discussion point.
How is it that the various Churches in a community are to come together as one body?
This question has had many Pastors and leaders working hard to endeavour to bring this about, for it is the Lord’s will that we be unified as one body. Right? Unfortunately, the unity that the Lord is looking for is not a unity of church organisations, but a unity of heart by the working of the Spirit of God in love and holiness.
Attempts in the past, led by ecumenical leaders, has failed in this regard. The Body of Christ will be made up of people with a great diversity of gifts, graces, and capacities. Yes, there can be unity in a Church if everyone who gathers at a particular church are all of the ‘eye’, or all of the ‘ear’ etc. for each one will feel ‘comfortable’ being surrounded by people like themselves. But where is the diversity?
Obedience is the Key: Oh, what damage has been done within church organisations as Pastors and leaders have demanded (overtly in most cases) loyalty to themselves or their organisation. Diotrephes (3 John 9,10) most probably had unity in his church but as he was gathering to himself rather than to the Lord, he therefore fits the description of being a ‘savage wolf‘ according to Paul (Acts 20:29) rather than a true shepherd or pastor. Our obedience must always firstly be towards the Lord, the Great Shepherd of the sheep.
There is a way in which the Church will be gathered, but it will not be according to man’s wisdom.
