New Book Release: Blessings Journal

October 15, 2026

This month has seen yet another book release from the 7 Eyes Publishing brand which is an imprint of the parent company Festoon Publishing.

The newly released book, Blessings Journal, written and compiled by Patricia Watson who lives here in the south-eastern part of Queensland, has made quite an impact upon those who have seen the book in print.

The book has quite a “feminine” look and feel to it, but surprisingly, men have seen the importance of such a book, and in fact, the first sale of the book was to a man wanting a copy. Whether it was for himself or for a gift is unknown, but it does give an indication of the value of such a book for those who love God and look for His appearing (in the little blessings that come our way).

This book can only be purchased through the Festoon Publishing website as the IngramSpark printing and distribution company have agreed to print the book for Festoon Publishing, but will not make it available for distribution to booksellers in their network of registered buyers [full stop]. Their policy is to not distribute journals of any kind. Although this is a disappointment in some ways, it doesn’t stop the book from becoming popular and being sought after by other booksellers who show an interest in displaying and stocking this book. Word-of-mouth recommendation works slowly but can create enormous momentum very quickly.

The “idea” behind the book came by Divine inspiration as Patricia, a retired nurse, was meditating on the blessings of the Lord and realised that these things needed to be recorded for posterity. It is so easy to forget what God has done for us and not let it register as something to be remembered. A Blessing Journal is just such a place to jot these things down, and then to look back on these things when times are tough and it seems that God is far away.

At a recent meeting with fellow Christian authors, the response was overwhelming. I sold every copy of this book that I had with me – and could have sold more. This was a great encouragement to the author and to all those involved in the book coming to fruition. An order has just gone through to IngramSpark for another shipment of books to meet the perceived demand before Christmas.

What is it that makes this book so special – other than being a place to jot down blessings that come our way? The real value behind this book is that a person now begins to open their eyes to see the blessings of God rather than being blind to His goodness towards us. The attitude changes. The expectation arises. The heart begins to soften towards God. The mind has a different focus – God, and His bountiful blessings that are ever towards us!

Well done Patricia, and the book launch has barely begun!
